Hello! I hope that you will find me to be a flexible and knowledgeable piano instructor. Through my years growing up in Northern Kentucky, I was always involved in music. This included church music, Lloyd High School choirs and of course, piano lessons. I later attended Northern Kentucky University and successfully completed the Certificate of Piano Pedagogy and a Bachelor of Music Education with a piano/choral emphasis.
I continue to study piano with Anna Sysun at the University. It is important as a teacher to keep myself accountable. I am involved with choir and children's music at Wilmington Church of God and have accompanied soloists for the Erlanger/Elsmere Kentucky and Fairfield Local school districts. In 2002 I began teaching piano and have made this my career. I have taught children as young as 4, as well as adults. I have also taught gifted and special needs individuals. Several of my students have recieved superiors and Applause awards at the Junior Experience and the Nrthern Kentucky Music teacher'sfectival and I am proud of them all.
