Instructor: Keri Jaehnig Instruments: Flute, Piccolo Phone Number: 937-382-4794 Email: director@culturallyconnectedexperience.com Web: www.culturallyconnectedexperience.com/music.html Keri began playing the flute in 5th grade. She took private lessons and attended Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan during summers throughout her youth as part of her education. It was her great pleasure to tour and perform with The First Marine Band - a historical recreation troupe that played on the White House steps for President Ronald Reagan - during her high school years. There, Keri played with many professional musicians in the Symphonic, Jazz, and Marching Band settings as well as Fife & Drum Corp. Her honors include participation in a county-wide high school honors band and several blue-ribbon ratings at solo-ensemble competitions at both the district and state levels. Keri has given lessons to middle school students, and has recently performed with church and community groups. School Friendly: Keri enthusiastically works with each student to meet their goals and interests. Each school in the Clinton County area has their preferred instruction books which she is happy to approach in perfecting skill and technique for class requirements. Those participating in special events such as Solo-Ensemble contests can count on Keri's coaching to bring them the highest possible score or rating. |
